In 8 18%2F24, Ignore the 8 for now and focus on 18%2F24. What is the GCF in both 18 & 24?

18=6x3
24=6x4

Since you see 6 in both 18 & 24, you can cross 6 out from both the numerator and the denominator...then 18%2F24= 3%2F4
