12%28%281%2F4%29x%2B1%2F3%29+=+12%28%281%2F3x%29-2%2F3%29 Simplify.
3x%2B4+=+4x-8 Subtract 3x from both sides.
4+=+x-8 Add 8 to both sides.
12+=+x Your answer sheet is correct.
