When you divide a number by 0, the answer is undefined, that is, not solavable.

When you divide a number into 0, the answer is 0.

When you divide 0 by 0, the answer is again undefined.

It is possible to get a quotient of infinity when you divide something by 0, however, this usually assumes that you are taking a limit to 0. For example, 1/x is infinity when you take the limit as x goes to zero.

However, as a counterexample, sin x / x goes to 1 as x goes to 0.
