You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+2%2F10+
think of it this way....
a tenth of a dollar is 10 cents (one dime)
and if you have 2 dimes ..
$0.20
so the decimal is
0.2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
its very simple ..we get the problem as stated by u in the following manner
2/10
first count the number of zeros in the denominator ...in your case there is only one zero..
Now, starting from right side and move to the left...count one digit and put the decimals in the numerator.
you get .. 0.2
suppose if the problem is 24/10...here you also count the number of zeros in the denominator ...in this case there is again only one zero..
Now, starting from right side and move to the left..count one digit and put the decimals in the numerator.
and you get .... 2.4
another example is 24/100....here you also count the number of zeros in the denominator ...in this case there is two zero.
Now, starting from right side and move to the left....count two digit and put the decimals in the numerator ...
and you get .... 0.24
hope this will help you
