You can put this solution on YOUR website!
fill the 3 gal jug and pour into 8 gal jug ___ do it again

you have 2 gal left and there are 6 gal in the 8 gal jug

fill the 5 gal jug from the 8 gal jug
___ this leaves 1 gal in the 8 gal jug

fill the 3 gal jug from the 5 gal jug
___ this leaves 2 gal in the 5 gal jug

add the remaining 2 gal (left from the initial 8 gal) to the 5 gal jug ___ it now has 4 gal

pour the 3 gal from the 3 gal jug into the 8 gal jug ___ it now has 4 gal
