You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You need to change it into y=mx%2Bbform.
3y=x
Divide both sides by 3
y=1%2F3%28x%29
Your slope is 1%2F3 and your Y-intercept is 0

Hello There:
Solve the equation for y (slope-intercept form). Divide both sides by 3.
y = (1/3)*x
The y-intercept is 0, and the slope is 1/3.
The line passes through the origin, and it rises one unit for every three units that you move to the left. In other words, the points (0, 0) and (3, 1) are on the graph.
Plot these two points, and draw a straight line through them.
