Question 66714: Hello. I dont think the question that I am asking has anything to do with math, but I was hoping if you can really help me, please!!! I have a 1pg report to do on a handshake symbol which means friendship. I have to tell where and when the symbol originated, clarify the symbols meaning, discuss the culture that honors the symbol, and discuss the symbol's importance to the culture and/or the world at large. That is what I have to do and I have been looking at many different websites for the symbol friendship, and I can't find anything. Do you anything; or a site that I can go to that can tell me these answers. Please help me!!! Also, please email me back as soon as possible, PLEASE!!! Thank you so much!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!I was told that is goes back to the days when men wore swords. The best way to show you were friendly was to show you do not have a sword in your hand,

Try the search engine: ask.com and put in keyword. "Origin of handshake", I saw a lot of sites there.
