Convert the mixed fraction (1-5/9) to improper fraction?
How?Multiply the denominator in this case "9"- by the whole number "1"= 9*1=9. Then add the numerator, in this case 5: 9+5=14, and use the same denominator 9: 14%2F9 -----> multiply the numerator by 7:
