Question 18481: It's been a while since I've done algebra and I'm trying to help a co-worker's daughter pass a SOL test. The question is "What is the inverse of adding -5.2 to a number?" I think the inverse means the opposite, but am not sure. On reciprical numbers such as 5/6, you flop the numbers around, right?
Thank you-Kathleen
