integer means whole number and its opposites. example: -10 & 10
rational means it is a termanting decimal a fraction or a counting number 1 1/2 1.33 -10 10
irrational numbers are non termanting decimals like 1.5747357580967895789673
84/12= 7 so it is a rational number and also and integer
