positive number = +6

so 2 examples - one with a digit value closer to zero than 6 and one larger than 6:

+6 - -2 --> +6 + 2 = +8
+6 - -10 --> +6 + 10 = +16

subtracting a minus number is like adding. So adding a number to an already positive number will always give you a positive answer.
