Solution:

14p - 8 = 22 + 20p


subtract 14p from both sides...


==> 14p - 8 - 14p = 22 + 20p - 14p


==> - 8 = 22 + 6p


Subtract 22 from both sides..


==> - 8 - 22 = 22 + 6p - 22


==> -30 = 6p


Divide both sides by 6
