Question 938069: How do I right this and what formula do I use I've tried it several different times but I'm sure I'm not doing it right. Please give me details. Thank you.
The sum of two integers is 45. The larger is 3 less than three times the smaller. Find the two integers.

Answer by ewatrrr(24785)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x the smaller
x + (3x-3) = 45
4x = 48
x = 12, the smaller. Larger is 33
And...checking
sum = 45
