What is a real number? A number on the number line.
What is a rational number? Any number that can be written as a fraction (-3/1)
What is an integer? Same as a whole number, but can include negative numbers.
What is a whole number? A number without a fraction (something you can count; therefore, it must be positive)
What is an irrational number? A number that cannot be written as a fraction (example: Pi)

It can be classified as a real number ( since it is not imaginary number, which you have to use "i" to represent), rational number (since it can be written as a fraction, 3/1), and integer(since it is just a number and nothing follows, no decimal), It's not a whole number because it's not positive. It's also not an irrational number since it doesn't have infinite decimal following after.
