.
Let x = number
then
(2/3 - 3/4)/x = 5/4
cross multiplying we get:
5x = 4(2/3 - 3/4)
5x = 8/3 - 3
multiplying both sides by 3:
15x = 8 - 9
15x = -1
x = -1/15
