Question 677680: 2x3 + x2 = 6x
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x^3 + x^2 = 6x

2x^3 + x^2 - 6x = 0

x(2x^2 + x - 6) = 0

x(x + 2)(2x - 3) = 0

x = 0 or x + 2 = 0 or 2x - 3 = 0

x = 0 or x = -2 or 2x = 3

x = 0 or x = -2 or x = 3/2

So the three solutions are x = 0 or x = -2 or x = 3/2
