Use the discriminant: b^2 -4ac

1. S�-5s-6=0
5^2 - 4*-6 > 0, so 2 Real Number solutions

2. T�+12t+36=0
12^2-4*36 = 0, so one Real solution with multiplicity 2

3. V�-8v-3=0
8^2-4*-3 > 0, so 2 Real Number solutions
