Question 636120: How do i solve this problem step by step? i dont understand still. : if the numbers 70and105 are both multiples of the prime number n, what are the possible values of n?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
List out the prime factorization of each number
70: 2*5*7
105: 3*5*7
So the possible values of n are n = 5 or n = 7 since these two primes are factors in each number.
