Question 466199: looking for the explanation and answers to
a) find two consecutive off intergers whose product is 783
b) find two consecutive even intergers that the sum of their squares is 340

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a) find two consecutive off intergers whose product is 783
sqrt(783) = almost 28, the middle --> 27 & 29
----------------
b) find two consecutive even intergers that the sum of their squares is 340
340/2 = 170
sqrt(170) = ~ 13 the middle
--> 12 & 14
------------
PS it's integer, not interger.
