1. You're dividing the 1 by the 3, so you have to move the 3 to the other side and mutliply it by the 75 : 1 times x = 75 times 3
2. Your answer: x = 75 times 3 (figure it out)
The reason you take away the 3 from the left side and multiply it by 75, is because when you're trying to find "x" you must move all the numbers on the side, where the "x" is, to the other side (the right side) to isolate (to cut off from the others) it.
And you multiply the 75 by the 3, because on the left side, you were dividing it from the one. So now you have to do the opposite thing on the right side (multiply it).
And, well, you know what "1" times "x" equals, right? = x
