Can i have some examples of rational #s and irrational #s please. i am so CONFUSED!

Step 1. Rational numbers are that can be expressed as fractions and as a ratio of whole integers like:

,, , and =0.3333333... and so on. The last example has repeating digits so it is a rational number.

Step 2. Irrational numbers cannot be expressed as fractions and as a ratio of whole integers like:

, , . Note that pi or pi=3.1415926... has non-repeating digits and therefore is an irrational number.
