Question 188450: 3(2x-5)=2(3x-2)
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(2x-5)=2(3x-2)
-----------------
6x-15 = 6x-4
-15 = -4 It doesn't. The 2 eqns are inconsistent.
If you set y = 6x-15, and y = 6x-4 and graph the two lines, they will be parallel.
