Question 139309: I have a problem that I could use some help understanding how to solve/answer from a homework sheet. x varies directly with y and inversely with z. x=20 when y=8 and z=4. Find x when y=4 and z=8. Thank you
Answer by vleith(2983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

A ratio of y/z of 8/4 =2 yields an x = 20.
What is x if the ratio of y/z = 4/8 = 1/2??
Use ratios.
