Question: Simplify: (2x - 7)-(5 + 4x) + (3x - 8)
2x - 7 - 9x + 3x - 8
(combining like terms - add 2x - 9x + 3x)
-4x - 15

Simplify: Remove the parentheses and don't forget to change the signs of the terms inside the parentheses preceded by a negative sign: Combine like-terms.
