5/8+(-17/12). TO do this problem you have to use order of operstion (PEMDAS) or should I say Please Excues my dear aunt sally (Parentasis, Exponets, multipacation, Division, Adition, Subtraction)
There for. 5/8 +(-17/12) So there fore according to PEMDAS. I have to do -17/12 first. which equals to -1.4.
Next, 5/8+(-1.4) So there for we multiply. 5/8x-1.4. WHich eqauls to .875.
So therefore your problem eqauls to .875
