LET X BE THE FIRST NUMBER
LET (4+2X) BE THE SECOND NUMBER
LET (3X-5) BE THE THIRD NUMBER
THUS WE HAVE:
X+(4+2X)+(3X-5)=137
6X-1=137
6X=137+1
6X=138
X=138/6
X=23 ANSWER FOR THE FIRST NUMBER.
4+2*23=4+46=50 FOR THE SECOND NUMBER.
3*23-5=69-5=64 FOR THE THIRD NUMBER.
PROOF
23+50+64=137
137=137
