A rational number is a positive or negative FraCtional number, or a whole
number because because you can always make a whole number into a fraction by
putting it over 1.

Since both given fractions have 11 in the denominator, think of all the
numerators between the numerator of the first, -3, and the numerator of the
second, which is 8.

The integers between -3 and 8 are these:

-3, -2, -1,  0,  1,  2,  3,  4,  5,  6,  7,  8

so use them as numerators and give each one a denominator of 11:

-3/11, -2/11, -1/11,  0/11,  1/11,  2/11,  3/11,  4/11,  5/11,  6/11,  7/11,  8/11

Only one of those reduces.  0/11 is just 0

So pick any 6 of those fractions between the first one and the last one.
