Question 1041086: Hi, I'm having trouble figuring out this question:
List the numbers in each set that are (a) natural numbers, (b) integers, (c)rational numbers, (d) irrational numbers, and (e) real numbers.
1.) A= {-6, 1/2, -1.333...(the 3's repeat), *pi*, 2,5}
3.) C= { 0, 1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4}
5.) E= {*square root of 2*, *pi*, *square root of 2* + 1, *pi* + 1/2}
Thank you.
Answer by Fombitz(32388) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1) The set contains integers, rational numbers, and irrational numbers. Those all make up the real numbers.
3) All the numbers are ratios of integers. They're rational numbers.
5) These are all irrational numbers.
