b.) Determine the time interval that the ball is above 25 feet.

Lenght =x
Width = y
x+2y=100
x= 100-2y
Area = xy = (100-2y)y
-2y^2+100y
Completing squares
-2(y-25)^2-(25x25)
This is the vertex form and gives us the x intercept.
That is the width is 25 and hence length is 50
Area is 1250
Is the answer correct.

Question 107772: I was wondering if you could help me. I don't think this problem is in this particular book,it is off of a webassign.net section 6.6 but I don't know anywhere else to look. I have this problem 5.5(x-9.5)(x+4.5)(x-3.2) and I'm suppossed to put it in general form, I think some call it polynomial form. I have tried it a hundred different ways and I come up with 5.5x^3-451/10x^2-147.125x+752.4 and 5.5x^3-45.1x^2-147.125+752 everytime I submit this it tells me I'm wrong what else do I do to get it in the form ax^2+bx+c Thanks for any help you can give
