You can put this solution on YOUR website!
how do you solve quadratic equations by graphing?
You would find where the parabola crossed the x-axis.
Say you needed to solve:
x%5E2%2Bx-6=0
You could say y=x%5E2%2Bx-6
Plot some points or put it in a graphing calculator and you get:
graph%28300%2C200%2C-10%2C10%2C-10%2C10%2Cx%5E2%2Bx-6%29
Notice that the parabola crosses the x axis at (-3,0) and (2,0)
That's the solution.
I hope that's what you needed.
Happy Calculating!!!
