how I like to do these is factor by grouping. since you cant on this one, you will unfortunately have to use the quadratic formula
sox+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28+b%5E2-4%2Aa%2Ac+%29%29%2F%282%2Aa%29+ just plug and chug
a is 2, b is 3, and c is 5
you -3+-sqrt(9-40)
i don't think there is a solution
