Y=X^2-3X+2
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = x^2 -3x +2).
checking the graph I'd say it has a minimum point.

To find the axis of symmetry, use this formula:

From the equation we can see that a=1 and b=-3

Plug in b=-3 and a=1

Negate -3 to get 3

Multiply 2 and 1 to get 2

So the axis of symmetry is

Notice if you graph the equation you get

and you can see there is a minimum at the axis of symmetry
