No do not add it!!
This is a quadratic equation which can be written as;
5x²-19x+4=0
Then solve it by any method of your choice.
To me,i prefer factorization method.That is
(5x²-20x)+(x+4)=0
5x(x-4)+1(x+4)=0
(5x+1)(x+4)=0
Then,
x=-1/5 or x=-4

You should ADD  to, but SUBTRACT  from both sides. This will give you: 5x^2 - 19x - 4 = 0
