Question 995973: Hi I need to graph the following quadratic equations:

y=(x-2)^2

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=(x-2)^2
This is a parabola with the vertex on the x-axis shifted 2 units to the right (x-2=0; x=2)
One can put in points and graph, or one can use symmetry.
When x=0, y=4.
That is two x-units away from the vertex, and y increases 4.
The third point is two x-units to the right of the vertex, and y increases 4. That would be (4,4)
