yes, it will work.
the two equations are equivalent.

if you graph both equations, they will be identical.
here's the graph of both equations on the same graph.
since the equations are identical, it looks like one graph.
this is the graphing statement enclosed in 3 opening brackets at the beginning and 3 closing brackets at the end.
