Question 970339: If has exactly one solution, what is the value of c?
Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x^2 + 6x + C = 0
divide both sides of = by 2
x^2 + 3x + C/2 = 0
(x + 1.5) * (x + 1.5) = 0
therefore
2.25 = C/2 and
C = 4.50
