Question 959771: x^2-19x+70=0

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2-19x+70=0

(x - 14)(x - 5) = 0 ... Note: -14 and -5 multiply to 70 and add to -19

x - 14 = 0 or x - 5 = 0

x = 14 or x = 5

The two solutions are x = 14 or x = 5
