Use scale of 1 grid unit equaling 4 quantity units for your (x,y) data points. Make the origin in the approximate middle of the available graph grid form; and you should be able to show the vertical axis intercept without trouble. Be sure to precisely label the number lines.

Use even numbers and a scale of 2. For example, 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.
