The height 'h' (in metres) above the ground of a baseball depends upon the time 't' (in seconds) it has been in flight. Cameron takes a mighty swing, but hits a bloop single whole height is described approximately by the equation
a) how long is the ball in the air?
b) The ball reaches its maximum height after how many seconds of flight?
c) What is the maximum height?

h = -16t^2 + 80t = t(-16t + 80)
a) 0 = t(-16t + 80), t = 5 sec
.....
Note: 5/2 = and 100 = 16(25/4)
h = -16(t-5/2)^2 + 100
b) 2.5 sec
c) 100m
