Question 90714This question is from textbook Beginning Al
: Solve: -9(x-3)^2 = -7
divide both sides by -9
(x-3)^2 = -7 over -9
remove the square from the left
x-3 = +/- radical 7 over radical 9 = radical 63 over 9
simplifiy the radical on the right
x-3 = 3 radical 7 over 9
add three to both sides
x = 3 +/- 3 radical 7 over 9
x = 27 over 9 +/- 3 radical 7 over 9
simplify
x = 27 +/- 3 radical 7 over 9
Can someone please confirm the steps I'm taking
