Solve by completing the square.
x^2 – 16x + 63 = 0
(x)^2-2*8*x = -63 (splitting 16 = 2*8 , in 2*8*x ,a =x & b = 8
add (8)^2 on both sides)
(x)^2- 2*x*8+64 = -63+64
(x)^2-2x8+64 = 1
(x-8)^2 = 1
Taking sq rt on both sides we get
x-8 = +-sq rt 1
x = 8+-sq rt 1 is the required solution
