Physical things are constructed to some tolerance.
eg, plus or minus 1 inch, plus or minus 1 mm, etc.
The sides of the table will be meters, =~ 1.73205... meters
An ordinary tape measure will not have sqrt(3) on it.

But, if it was a 4 sq meter table, it is also not possible to make a table to exactly 2 by 2 meters, it's always + or minus something.
--> it's a silly question, not based on reality.
