Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Change each equation to standard form, write the center &radius of the circle. X^2+y^2-6y-16=0
Rearrange:
x^2 + (y^2-6y+?) = 16+9
Complete the square::
x^2 + (y^2 - 6y + 9) = 16+9
Factor to show standard form:::
(x-0)^2 + (y-3)^2 = 25
------
Center: (0,3)
Radius:: sqrt(25) = 5
