Hi,
What is the ordered pair of the vertex of
f(x)=x^2+8x+6
Using the vertex form of a parabola,
where(h,k) is the vertex
f(x)=x^2+8x+6 |Putting into the vertex form by completing the square
f(x)= (x+4)^2 - 16 +6
f(x)= (x+4)^2 - 10 P(-4, -10) is the vertex
