Question 81774: Problem
In a playoff game the ball was carried by either Anderson or Brown on 21 plays. Anderson gained 36 yards, and Brown gained 54 yards. If Brown averaged twice as many yards per carry as Anderson, then on how many plays did Anderson carry the ball?
I think I need to set it up as follows, but am not sure
2(36/x)= 54/21-x
Thank you for your help
