I cant figure out how to deal with this question but i know the answer of it.
The width of the original rectangle will be 8.37cm

x and y are the two side lengths of the rectangle.
If the changes are made as described,
Two equations, two unknowns x and y. Simplify the "area increased by 5" equation.
Solve the system.
