Maybe. What you show is a quadratic equation, but in that form, it is only one dimensional. In line with that, the equation has no vertex, but has two solutions for x.

Does your equation come from ? This does have a vertex, and is at (3, 2).

Parabola equations in standard form, , have vertex at (h, k).
