What is the slope of a polynomial 2x-10
-------------
A polynomial does not have a slope.
Slope is (usually) the change in y divided by the change in x.
There is no y.

A SLOPE is a relationship between two variables, mostly x and y, so you're missing y and an equals sign, which would make the expression an equation. Is it asking too much to just state the CORRECT problem?
