solve 5x^+2x=2 by using the quadratic formula.
Rewrite the problem:
5x^2+2x-2=0
a=5,b=2, c=-2
x=[-b+-sqrt(b^2-4ac)]/2a
--------
x=[-2+-sqrt(4-4*5*-2)]/10
x=[-2+-sqrt(44)]/10
x=[-2+-2sqrt11]10
x= (-1+sqrt11)/5 or x= (-1-sqrt11)/5
