Question 677976: Write a Quadratic Equation given these solutions:

Answer by swincher4391(1107) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x=1/3
Multiply 3 on both sides:
3x = 1
subtract 1.
3x-1
x = 1/4
By the same method:
4x-1
So a quadratic function with roots 1/3 and 1/4 is (3x-1)(4x-1)
FOIL to get:
12x^2-4x-3x+1
which is 12x^2-7x+1
2)
x=-1/2 ---> (2x+1)
x=-2/3 ----> (3x+2)
FOIL that out to get 6x^2+7x+2
